Blue Note Records has recently celebrated its 'Diamond Anniversary' of 75 years in the music industry. Throughout the years, this company has released a plethora of classic and timeless material that has inspired and influenced many of our favorite artists and musicians to this day. Last month, Blue Note held a concert to commemorate their history, bringing many artists that have been on the label together for a evening of pleasant vibes at The Kennedy Center In New York City. Watch as legendary pianist McCoy Tyner and vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson bless the stage and those in attendance with a duet of 'African Village' from the 1968 album Time For Tyner, and more performances from Wayne Shorter, Norah Jones, Lou Donaldson, and Dr. Lonnie Smith below.
