The minds behind Sour Patch Kids have recently put together a new creative space called The Patch. Located in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn, this allows artists and musicians a place to stay while on tour and/or record in the city. The Patch features 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, lounge area, and recording studio among other things, giving artists a comfortable place to relax, rest and record, while provide amenities as if they were back home. In addition to these features, SPK has gotten together with local, vendors, designers, and artisans to create, art, décor, food, furniture, and mroe that is reflective of the community of the location and its surroundings. Guests of The Patch have included Rome Fortune, Kitty Crash, and Joywave among others since its opening in Setpember. Check out The Patch in the gallery above.
