We saw Mr. West in a plethora of studded masks and minimal clothing and it has been announced that Maison Martin Margiela is the brand responsible for this. In typical avant garde fashion, the minimalist fashion house provides their rendition of oversized coats, jackets, and studded masks for Yeezy during his 27-song set list. The elaborate show saw West don everything from mirrored and black gem “veils” to silk trousers, elongated bombers, specially-developed sneakers and more – each tailor-made for the self-professed creative genius and reinterpreted from the extensive archives of the notoriously mysterious French fashion house. Look for ‘Ye to don the custom pieces throughout the remainder of the Yeezus tour as it makes its way across North America before 2013 comes to an end.
