RZA Speaks on 8 Diagrams

Large

RZA recently sat down with Billboard.com and discussed the future of Wu-Tang Clan and there upcoming album 8 Diagrams, Which is set to release in August.
"We're rekindling flames,...There's a strong potential this could be a long campaign, so this will keep us on the road together, on TV together and keep us working together."
The album will feature a tribute to ODB entitled Life Changes and a track that was recorded for Return to 36 Chambers that was recently re-discovered. RZA also spoke about this.

"I lost it, because the DJ who handled my equipment back then, we just got disconnected," he says. "He actually found the tape about eight months ago and flew out to California with it. The problem is, it doesn't sound all that great, because this was 1992 or 1993 when it was recorded. But ODB's performance is fuckin' immaculate. So maybe I can find some software to restore it and put it on as a bonus track."
He also confirmed there will be production coming from others besides himself. While thats not exactly great news for us Wu heads, Q-Tip is said to be on the albums first single. That should calm you down after hearing about the outside production.
This album sounds like it is actually going to happen! I got to admit even when I reported the reunion afew months back, I had a little bit of doubt in me.
