Prince makes his grand return to the music scene releasing two new albums titled Art Official Age and PLECTRUMELECTRUM. Art Official Age is a 13 track album where Prince draws inspiration from soul, R&B with some funk. However, PLECTRUMELECTRUM provides a funk-rock sound in the 12 featured tracks on the project which was recorded live while he was on tour with his band in the UK.
