Recently, co-creator of the Gorillaz, Jamie Hewllet, took to Instagram to confirm that the collective is back. There aren't a lot of details yet on what the reunion entails, but hopefully it means we will be receiving a new album from the group this year as opposed to our earlier projection from Damon Albarn of 2016. A new album would be the first full-length offering from the Gorillaz since the release of The Fall in 2011.
