In a recent blog post dedicated to emojis, Instagram claims that the series of emoticons is forming a new language. Along with this proclamation, Instagram also shared a few statistics regarding emojis, stating that over 50% of all posts made on Instagram included emojis. The emoticons bring people together of all linguistic backgrounds, as the small images make up for language barriers and give communication a definitive context.
