IMAX broke big news today that they will be opening a virtual reality center by the end of the year. IMAX struck a deal with Europe's biggest movie theater chain to ultimately open a VR center in Manchester which will be located at one of Odeon & UCI Cinemas Group's theaters. People will be able to play different games, interact with the virtual-reality expos and watch films. The first theater is slated to open before the year ends. China, Japan, the Middle East, Western Europe and Los Angeles locations are also currently in the works.
