Over the past few weeks with the NBA Playoffs becoming more prevalent and with baseball starting up, Waxx, Kinggs, and I decided to try something new. Instead of just posting a sports post here and there and see what people have to say, as enjoyable as that is here's something a bit different. The 2 Minute Warning is a Sports Talk/ Hip-Hop show that will bring you brand new music as well as brand new music and exclusive interviews. The newest Episode 15 includes a visit from Trill Da Playa of the 69 Boyz fame, Eric Henderson [linebacker for the Bengals], Tamika Scott [formly of Xscape], and DJ Don Cannon. Thanks to host Keith & Shane for making this happen.

This week Shane & I discuss the current state of the NBA and Jaguar Draft Talk. But, we are also blessed to have several guests swing through the Stadium this week. Desloc from Piccalo brought his Vibe to explain his stick music movement, while BSU checked in for the Haitians and discuss the woeful state of Miami sports. Plus, we've got a true warrior on the show in Big Mark who plays professional football as a lineman and gives us insights on Quinn Gray and life in the trenches. Not to mention, we've got exclusive new music from Scrappy ft Trey Songz (good lookin' out, Erin!) and Young Dro featuring the hometown favorite Lil Duval on "Nightlife." This week is a special week as we introduce a new segment entitled, "Warrior." It's a chance to highlight the warriors we see on the field, court, and other battlefields in the blessed world of sports. We welcome Dwayne Bowe of the Kansas City Chiefs as our initial warrior (shouts to Keeno for helping set that up) with many more headed your way in the weeks to come. Also, too much is made of the negative side of athletes, so we'd like to take the time to recognize the efforts of Marcus McNeil who highlighted his Marcus McNeil foundation in Atlanta this past weekend (great job Jasmine!). A great time was had by all with great support from the NFL fraternity including Clinton Portis (Washington Redskins), Michael Turner (Atlanta Falcons), and Mike Walker (Jax Jaguars) and the best part it was for a great cause.
Now, back to the boogie, Episode 13 is filled with great commentary by your favorite hosts, Keith & Shane as we highlight the NBA Playoffs, an update on the Madden Curse, players in the news for the wrong reasons, the Cool Runnings Anniversary party, and more! Not to mention, we've got the best music to keep your head bobbin' with new music from Nelly, Akon, Usher, T.I., included with newcomers Tay Dizm, E. Mackey, and even vets like Heavy D.

This week, we're reporting live from the road with stops in Gainesville and the Gate Keepers' Gainesville Music Summit (shouts to C. Wakeley and Amp). Then after a short 16 hour ride up I-95, the 2 Minute Warning descended upon the New York/New Jersey area. While in the city that never sleeps, a good friend and listener of the show Andrew McKessey celebrated the birth of his first child, a beautiful daughter named, Drew. (Good job, Alexis!) In the meantime, you already know Keith and Shane found time to report about the sports world.
This week, the 2 Minute Warning reports on the Jaguar Draft picks, who are the real winners in the NBA?, a rant about gas prices, Roger Clemens' scandals, and of course the latest on Grand Theft Auto 4. Most importantly, Michael Turner from the Atlanta Falcons stopped by the show to let us know about his life in the NFL as a running back. Plus, this week we have fiya music from LL Cool J, The Game and T.I. in addition to hometown favorites Bread Boyz, Phoenix the Firestarter, Big Koon & Hollywood, and even Tamika Scott (formerly of Xscape) sings a beautiful tune on this week's 2 Minute Warning.
