GORILLA DROPPIN’S: The Chronicles of Samuel Storm 2
Samuel Storm in your area. So I am late on my journal entry but I have a legitimate excuse......I almost died from working too much!! Real Talk, the past 4 or 5 days Chaunce Clothing and also our screen printing company has been in the process of moving to our new location. It has been a daunting task. We should be fully operational June 25th. Not only are we moving but we also bought a bunch of new printing equipment. Don't ask how much it was, cuz I don't like to remind myself! The spot is about 5000sq ft and will house all of our print presses, dryers, pre-production, fulfillment, distribution and office space. With that being said, I will try and re-cap the last week or so.....
We will finally be in possession of the very first Chaunce Clothing Premium Denim Jeans. Look out for the jeans in our up coming seasons. After a few weeks of going over design work and details with the over seas manufacturer, I recently received verification that we should be expecting our samples by the end of this week. That's what's up!
I had lunch with a Top40 rock groups manager last week and we discussed the scope of the bands merchandise needs. The meeting went real well and it looks like Project Print will soon be handling/printing all of their merchandise. Oh yeah, if you didn't know, Chaunce Clothing is an entirely in house operation. Along with the Clothing line we have a fully functioning separate screen printing entity/company. So hit us up if you have any print needs. (shameless plug) Anyway, the band is currently on their own short tour before they join the Warped Tour. And it looks like they will be needing lots of shit printed. I was really glad to seal this account up.
We also just finished the initial designs for an exclusive tee that we are doing for a project that we are collaborating on with none other than illRoots.com. I showed Hallway the first rough up design and he thought it was dope. It is dope, it's actually fire!! I will let Hallway break it down for you when the time comes. Keep your ears and eyes open.
I made contact with several artists and MC's this week to solidify their involvement in Chaunce Clothing's forthcoming mixtape release. Yes ya'll, you heard it from the horses mouth, Chaunce Clothing will be dropping a mixtape in the near future with original exclusive content from some of your favorite artists. And, we will be releasing it for dl exclusively on illRoots. Big up to everyone involved in the project. You know who you are.
