If you've been following Drake throughout his career, you know how in tune he is to the hip-hop culture. Last night, he took to his Instagram and presented the 2014 Hood Grammys. Minus the catergorys of best rap album and sung collaboration, hip-hop's contribution at the Grammys isn't huge. Drake made his own category's and picked his winners for material that has dominated his rotation this year. Drake picked Bobby Shmurda for vocal performance of the year on his street hit 'Hot Nigga', Rae Sremmurd on 'No Flex Zone' or Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan on 'Lifestyle' for best performance by a group or duo, OG Maco and Key! best all around turn up on 'You Guessed It', iLoveMakonnen for best Latin club anthem on 'Tuesday', and PARTYNEXTDOOR for mixtape of the year for PARTYNEXTDOOR 2.
