Former Yankee star Derek Jeter, businessman Bruce Sherman, and the ownership group they lead have officially been approved to buy the Florida Marlins baseball team. In a unanimous decision, MLB owners approved the sale, which comes in at a cost of $1.2 Billion. While the sale has not yet been finalized, its reported that there are already plans in place to fire the team president and various special assistants.
