This past Wednesday, Apple announced through a press release its accelerated plans to stimulate the US economy, which includes opening a new campus, creating new jobs and growing their U.S operations. The campus "will initially house technical support for customers" and will be built as its own facility in Reno, Nevada, separate to the one announced earlier this year. The tech giant claim that this will create 20,000 new jobs for Americans.
Additionally Apple plans on making considerable stateside investments, purchasing more American material and supplies, which they predict will stimulate the american economy by $350 Billion. You can read their full plans in their announcement here.
