AMC To Turn Shea Serrano's 'The Rap Year Book' Into Documentary TV Series

One of the most popular pieces of Hip Hop literature will now be coming to TV. Shea Serrano's New York Times Best Selling book 'The Rap Year Book' has been picked up by AMC, and is being turned into a 6 part documentary series. Like the book, the show is said to "debate and deconstruct the most important moments and songs from the biggest years in the history of hip-hop with each episode centered on the story of one key song". With Questlove and Blackthought on board as executive producers, stay tuned to with us for updates on the show arriving in 2018
